Wash Routine: Fall Edition

Time for my Fall wash.

I washed my hair a little different this time. I actually used shampoo and I was in quite a rush to get my hair washed and ready. I also ran out of black soap (Oopsy).

To make up for the man-made chemical, I used my usual ACV (apple cider vinegar) diluted with water and I also mixed it with a little coconut oil as well. Left it in for only two minutes and rinsed it out. Your hair should be slightly oily after you rinse it. That’s how you want it to be, but don’t over indulge.

While my hair was a little damp (and oily) I put mini twist in while applying a thin coat of shea butter. A very very veryyyyy little at the roots and at the ends. It’s the Fall so I’m definitely using extra protection.

Afterwards I wrapped my twist and tied it down. If you apply shea butter to your edges before you tie it down it’s nice and slick when you take it off the head tie in the morning. I will be making a blog post on how I wrap my twist in the near future. That is for those who are unfamiliar.
